This business was
located on Lot 19 Mutchmor Street East.
Sometime
in the early 1920's it was first opened. The restaurant part opened in 1935.
The Ice Cream
Parlour was a great delight to children. Dinners were served at
midnight after local dances and they were a highlight of the village in
that time.
At some point Mrs.
Cranston accommodated boarders such as school teachers and commercial
travelers.
